Fighting her self confidence, stage fright and shyness, my little angel became a hero and part of the team in the performance for the International Evening. On the way to the school she must have had millions of butterflies in her stomach; for she kept telling me ‘what if I forgot the lyrics?’ I just assured her that she will be fine.Guess what! she was fine, as they sang the 12 days of Christmas song. She has to sing the fifth day part, and of course they all have to remember the whole twelve days thingy …………………….. as this was a group performance.
On the fifth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.
