Doctors Are NOT Gods

 Before, always in bad mood
and she will drop off anywhere for a nap
even when we were at the rose garden
 Adter.................... happy
 happy
even happy in the company of others

Most doctors have the reputation for thinking that they are gods, though; they put the notion of that divinity in existence more in the head of the patients. Doctors will diagnosed the sickness that we have or have not, and often enough they have been proven wrong. However, because they believe d that they are gods; the patients’ opinion and/or objection do not matter.

Some doctors are arrogant, and that made them distasteful and odd. In the medical world now it is very rare that we could find a doctor who is truly and knowingly humble. The reason I am putting my perception of doctors in this entry today is because when CD had her episode, she only had her sister (who is also a doctor) with her but she had no one who could questioned the doctor assigned to her and be given the respect from the doctor concerned.

CD was prescribed with medication that was making her super annoying all the time, upset, withdrawn, insomniac, and angry. During her appointment with the concerned doctor, she tried voicing her opinion about what the medication was doing to her, however, instead of listening to her and analyzing the effect of the medication on her, the doctor just shut her up by telling her “you have to take your medicine” and no further discussion.

I was disgusted when I knew of the doctor’s reaction towards my daughter. He must be one hell of a government doctor who prescribed the easiest and the cheapest way out and have no interest in weighing the effect of the medication. It is in ever medical journal that the doctors are supposedly to listen and be aware of the effect of any medication that he/she prescribed to the patient, and the patients have the right to demand for a change of the medication. It is the rule of the thumb!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, I hope CD will not have to see that doctor again. She has since changed the medication and is now taking a much lower dosage of the new meds and doing extremely good, Alhamdulillah.

Pictures of CD before and after the change of meds.
