Chef Diva wanted to usher in 2010 with the usual countdown. I am not too anxious about being with the crowd. However, it is important that I let her experience the celebration here, so after dinner, we stayed in the house to watch remembering Michael Jackson on TV, and left at 2100 hours to the Rathaus (there were so many other places to go, but this is the easiest for us). It was already very crowded when we arrived; we managed to ease ourselves between the crowd to be as near the stage as possible.Though the weather was cold, no one was feeling it as the thousands of people were just warming up the atmosphere. It was indeed a night to remember, mostly because we managed to entertain Chef Diva before her departure.
