When Austria met Germany, hooligans were unleashed. Some were taken away in Police trucks, while some were attended to by paramedics. The rest of the spectators were left waiting in the rain for the big screen to be turned on.

However, in the end the Police decided that the public safety is of priority thus the big screen was never on from the beginning to the end of the game.
