Our Cat Moment

On Saturday we surprised the angels by taking them to the cats and dogs sanctuary. They have wanted to visit this place for a long time; somehow we never could manage the time until now.

The place where the cats were sheltered was remarkable, they have big cubicles, garden to roam around, many scratch pads, poles and ladders to climb on, windows to gaze at the outside world, and very clean surroundings. We felt in love with every single cat that we set our eyes upon.

Afterwards we went to visit the wings where the dogs were sheltered. It was a sad site as most of the dogs were old and live in very tiny cubicles on their own, as dogs will normally fight when caged together. We did not stay long at the dogs place, because they were really a sad sight.

Once out of the place we decided to walk to the next destination, on the way we encountered a lone cat. Funny how the cat warmed up to the angels so quickly and we were wondering if it was a lost cat or an abandoned cat. What’s important was that we had our cat moment for a while.
