The defeat of the South African team last night was anticipated, they were not playing football rather they were like hungry animals, running wild everywhere, clawing, kicking and tormenting all the enemies that they encountered. They were simply aggressive. I could not be happier then to see the goalie been given the walk out, though he may not have deserved it, however, he was paying for the nastiness of teams.Therefore, the vociferous sound of the vuvuzela was silenced for a moment, thus giving the other supporters some peace to listen to normal football. I have been waiting for the humming of the football team songs, but their singing was always drowned by the vuvuzela. So, the saying goes, empty vessels make the most noise.
One down and more to go, so let’s wait and see ………………….. but for today I am cheering for team Argentina. Go Argentina………. Go Argentina.
