Sharing Some Landmarks

I love this place, it would be nice to have an opportunity to live here for a while.

Train Station

This is what you call a train station. There is no time to be bored here; most of the shops were open 24 hours. What is more important is that there is a book store selling loads and loads of English reading material.

*sigh*………… hope someday our train station will be as international as this train station.

How Much Will It Take?

This is the train that we took for 6 hours to Frankfurt. But what is 6 hours when you have good company, and a beautiful comfortable, clean and safe train to ride on. Whenever I encountered this kind of experience, I cannot help but wonder how much will it take for KTM to have a similar train?

The last train ride that I took back home was quite pathetic, the air-conditioning was worse than sub zero degrees, the seats and tables were tattered and broken. People were all over the cabins, sitting on the floors, at the stairs, and in the canteen area, I think they were short of climbing up on the train roof. Who knows with so much of corruption there, KTM might even look like an Indian train one day.

How much will it take to change for the comfort of your people especially the tax payers?

Stupidity Runs Deep

All I hired them for was to change the boiler in the house. What normally takes 4 hours to do have taken them nearly 3 weeks to complete. To top all that, the chimney guy who is nearly the same age as my father (believe it or not), who claimed that he had all the technical knowhow had instructed that the new boiler be moved in the walk way of the unit instead of the kitchen.

The hacking and the drilling of the walls was unbelievable, by mistake as instructed by the stupid wise old chimney man, they even drilled through a main pillar which holds the structure of the whole apartment building. Obviously, they stopped the drilling work altogether while waiting for the stupid wise old man to decide what is the next move.

Our reasoning with them goes nowhere, that’s when we decided to speak to a legal aid. When threatened with a demand of explanation, the stupid wise old man dared not come to our unit anymore, but informed the workers that it was alright to do the installation as we had suggested.

The work is yet to complete, while the boiler was finally installed, but I am demanding that they repair the broken tiles in the bathroom, the wall paper and the kitchen tiles. And, yes I also need the certificate of fitness authorizing that the installation of the boiler is safe and right. Without all these in place, they will not get the payment at all from us, instead they will be issued with a demand letter from the legal advisor.

Take note Nicolas Sarkozy, when you implemented the retiring age to 62 years of age for your country, you will get half senile employees to run your country, while the youngsters busy themselves doing drugs and making babies, as they don’t have a need to work, while living like leaches on the income tax payers.

Please let the youngsters have a say in the running of a country.

Shape Ups

Saw these Shape Ups shoes so many times, but I have never had the courage to try it on, as the price is too expensive. But, you know sometimes you do things without much thinking, and that happened when we were in Frankfurt recently.

I was eyeing an Ed Hardy’s shoe which was on sale, but got carried away to trying one of the Shape Ups. Well, for more than many years of my life, the Shape Ups was one of the most comfortable shoes that I have put my foot into. However, I was not too happy with the price, so I just put on the shoes and walked in the shop for a good 15 minutes or so, and you guess right, I am not willing to leave the shop without the Shape Ups. Well, what can I say; there goes ‘my duit kepit’. I BOUGHT THE DAMN SHAPE UPS……………..urghhhh.

Anyways, here are some facts about the Shape Ups. It was supposed to promote weight loss, strengthen the back, firm calf and buttock muscles, tone and firm thigh muscles, increase cardiovascular health, improve posture, reduce stress on knee and ankle joints, and relieve muscle tension and fatigue. There you go, the list can go on, but the above are good reasons enough for me to buy one.

The Shape Ups are designed for a new way to walk and exercise. It was recommended that for the first time user to limit the daily session of the usage for 25 – 45 minutes at least for the first two weeks, then increasing the time in 5 to 10 minutes more, depending on the comfort level.

I got a Shape Ups, I got a Shape Ups…………………….. (thumbs up).

Are You So Desperate?

This will be my first entry without a picture. I don’t need one for the message in this entry can only be given to one person and that is YOU!!!!!

Are you so desperate to impress? Are you so desperate to be noticed? Are you so desperate to be wanted? Are you just pure desperate.

Please wake up and repent today, before tomorrow.

I am ashamed of you

Food On Wheels

Food on wheels, I was just amazed at the way this was done. The road was closed at a certain time of the week, so that the business on wheels can take place. It was well organized, clean and aromatically delicious. I cannot help it but wonder why we are not able to have such simple luxury back home?

Art Gallery

We took time to take my little angel to one of the Art Gallery that was available in this city. The smile on her face was just magical, she is into arts, and we are encouraging her to pursue her dreams. I hope someday we could afford to take her to a bigger gallery. My heart flutters just looking at the excitement on her face.
